Privacy Policy

Effective date: September 21, 2026

Uniservices Security Solutions Inc. (“Uniservices,” “we,” “us” or “our”) respects your privacy and is committed to handling personal information responsibly and in accordance with applicable privacy law, including Alberta’s Personal Information Protection Act.

Information We Collect

When you contact us or submit a project enquiry, we may collect information such as your name, company or organization, email address, telephone number, project location, property type, requested service, project stage, existing system information and the details you choose to provide about your project.

Please do not submit alarm codes, access credentials, network credentials, detailed floor plans or other sensitive security information through the website.

We may also process limited technical information required to operate and protect the website, prevent spam and abuse, validate form submissions and diagnose technical problems. This may include an IP address, browser or device information, request time and security-validation data.

How We Use Personal Information

We use personal information to:

  • review and respond to enquiries;
  • understand project requirements;
  • communicate about requested services, estimates or possible work;
  • operate, protect and improve the website;
  • prevent spam, fraud and misuse;
  • maintain appropriate business and legal records; and
  • comply with applicable legal requirements.

Information submitted through the enquiry form is not used for marketing unless you provide separate consent.

Consent

By voluntarily submitting an enquiry or contacting us, you consent to the collection, use and disclosure of the information reasonably necessary to assess and respond to your request.

You may withdraw or change your consent, subject to legal and contractual limitations. Withdrawal may prevent us from continuing to respond to or perform a requested service.

Service Providers and Processing Outside Canada

We use service providers to operate the website, protect it from abuse, transmit enquiry emails and manage our business communications.

Cloudflare hosts the website and provides spam protection. Cloudflare operates a global network, and website requests and related technical information may be processed in Canada, the United States and other countries where Cloudflare operates. Cloudflare Web Analytics may also be used to collect aggregate website performance and usage information.

Postmark transmits enquiry emails and stores message content and related transmission records in the United States.

Microsoft 365 hosts our email. Microsoft identifies Canada as the current and committed geography for Exchange Online mailbox content. Microsoft currently identifies Canada as the geography for Exchange Online Protection but provides no committed geography for that service.

Information processed or stored outside Canada may be subject to the laws of the applicable jurisdiction. Further information about our service-provider policies and practices is available from our Privacy Officer.

Analytics

The website may use Cloudflare Web Analytics to obtain aggregate information about website use and performance. It does not use advertising cookies or create marketing profiles. We do not currently use Google Analytics, advertising pixels or remarketing tools.

Disclosure

We do not sell personal information.

We may disclose information to service providers acting on our behalf, where reasonably necessary to respond to an enquiry or provide requested services, or where disclosure is required or permitted by law.

Retention

We retain personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary to respond to an enquiry, provide requested services, maintain appropriate business and legal records, and meet applicable legal requirements.

We periodically review website enquiry records and delete personal information that is no longer reasonably required. If an enquiry becomes part of a customer relationship, estimate, contract or project, relevant information may be retained for reasonable business, contractual, warranty, insurance, tax or legal purposes.

Service-provider logs and transmission records may be retained for shorter operational periods under the providers’ own retention practices.

Security

We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards appropriate to the nature of the information. However, no internet transmission or electronic storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

Do not use the website form to transmit alarm codes, access credentials or other sensitive security information.

Access, Correction and Privacy Requests

You may request access to or correction of your personal information, withdraw consent where applicable, or ask questions about our privacy practices.

Requests for access to or correction of personal information must be submitted in writing, by email or by mail, to the Privacy Officer at the address below.

We may need to verify your identity before completing a request. Certain information may need to be retained where required or permitted by law.
